✓ We store no customer personal data

Tiernova only stores shop-level discount configuration (the offers you create) and aggregate, anonymous analytics. We never collect, store, or process the personal data of your customers (names, emails, addresses, or order contents tied to a person).

1. Who we are

Tiernova ("we", "the app") is a Shopify app that lets merchants create volume discounts, bundles, BOGO, free-gift, cart-goal and order-discount offers that run through Shopify's own discount engine. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how we handle it.

2. What the app can access

To do its job, Tiernova can read your products and collections (to know which items an offer applies to), create and read automatic discounts (to run your offers through Shopify's own discount engine), and read order totals and tag the orders that used a Tiernova offer (so you can see performance on your Analytics page and filter those orders in Shopify). We access only what these features need — never your customers' names, emails, addresses, or payment details.

3. Data we store

Your shop domain and the offline access token Shopify issues at install (so the app can read products and write discount rules on your behalf).
The offers/discount rules you configure in the app.
Anonymous, aggregate analytics events (e.g. "a discount was applied", amount in your store currency). These contain no customer identifiers.

We do not store customer names, emails, addresses, payment details, or any personally identifiable information.

4. How we use data

Solely to operate the app: to apply your discounts at checkout via Shopify, mirror your offer rules onto products, and show you aggregate performance. We do not sell, rent, or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. GDPR & Shopify compliance webhooks

We implement Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks:

customers/data_request — we hold no customer personal data, so there is nothing to export.
customers/redact — we hold no customer personal data, so there is nothing to delete.
shop/redact — 48 hours after you uninstall, we permanently erase all data we hold for your shop.

6. Data retention & deletion

When you uninstall Tiernova we immediately revoke access and remove our injected theme code. Your shop's stored offers and analytics are deleted automatically when Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook (about 48 hours after uninstall). You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

7. Sub-processors & security

The app runs on Cloudflare's network (compute and storage). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and access tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We use Shopify's GraphQL Admin API only.
